What is the right of withdrawal?
The right of withdrawal, commonly known as the "right to change your mind," is one of the most important rights granted to consumers by the Consumer Code. This matter is governed by Legislative Decree No. 21/2014, which transposed Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. The right of withdrawal allows consumers to change their minds about a purchase, canceling the contract without providing any reason. In this case, consumers may return the goods and obtain a refund.
